Prof. Zhang started study in Department of Electronic at Dalian University of Technology in Feb 1978, and obtained bachelor’s degree of Engineering in Feb 1982.

In Sep 1985 she studied in Northeastern University in the major of Computer Application, and got master's degree of Engineering in Feb 1988.

She has been teaching in high school ever since Feb 1982. In 1996 she was promoted associated professor. After that she got involved in the teaching and scientific research of compiling methods, natural language understanding and machine translation.

She has undertaken the teaching of several courses of the computer specialty including: Computer Network, Principles of Programming Language, Introduction to Computer Science, C Language, English for Science and Technology, etc.

She took part in the research of many projects supported by National, Provincial or Ministerial Natural Science Foundation of China and many cooperating projects. She has been the participant of projects that have been awarded Ministerial Scientific and Technological Progress Prize (Second Class) (one), Prize for Scientific Progress from Ministry of Education (Second Class) (one) and Prize for Excellent Scientific Achievements from State Archives Bureau (First Class) (one). She has published over 10 papers in relevant areas.
